Menu planning: Week 3

A friend told me about Pepper Plate.  They have a site and an iPhone app that you can get for FREE!  Even can pull in recipes to make a menu plan and grocery list via URLs from a ton of sites!

I was a little skeptical and confused, but I got it all going and had a way more organized shopping list process and shopping venture!

As for my other progress with this week...I can thank the end of my class!  No school stress definitely helps get the creative juices flowing.

Finally...a new-ish inspiration source, All You Magazine.  I had tabbed or torn pages before but never this many!  They all came out so yummy!  Can't beat a magazine with good food recipes, coupons and some great articles.

This was not the healthiest of my choices by far but I have been so good with everything I just had to have a pregnancy craving quencher!  I'm not normally a citrus food person but this was incredibly yummy.  One warning out for the directions not included on the "print recipe" printout.  The directions for the chicken marinade which takes an overnight-er is NOT included on it but is on the site.

This was a tasty dish for sure!  I did make a couple changes to the recipe though.  The commissary only had one package of the cheese tortellini so I grabbed that and a sweet sausage tortellini.  We, also, had some steamed broccoli that we threw in.
