My favorite for the week!

Roast Beef Sandwich with Melted Cheese and Caramelized Onions

This was a recipe making use of the leftovers from the Garlic Lover’s Roast Beef.  I should have known that after falling in love with that recipe that this would shine through for me for this week!  We used french bread and provolone for our sandwiches.  This was definitely one that after the very first bite made its way into our recipe keeper binder!

Creamy Slow-Cooker Tortellini Soup

We are big soup people if you haven’t realized yet but this has been my first real go at trying all of these different recipes instead of going for the ready made soup at the grocery store.  We did change this recipe a bit though to better suit us.  Instead of using browned beef or Italian sausage, we chose to brown ground turkey and turkey Italian sausage.  Also, we used Neuftachel cheese instead of cream cheese.  A friend of mine tried this recipe right after us using ravioli and it was a success too!
