One of our latest adventures was out into Vista for lunch after service at North Coast Church at The Yellow Deli. This was a recommendation by a lot of friends who have lived out this way. As we pulled up to the building, I was in complete awe. It is just incredibly unique. Because it was a beautiful day and they have outside seating, we had about a 45 minute wait. Honestly though, I did not mind one bit. That town has so much to see!!!
There was artwork on so many of the buildings. It became a wait distraction to find as many murals as we could.
Out of everything we found, this was my favorite. It was covered with locks from different people. I could swear that I had seen something of this before but I cannot for the life of me remember from where.
The food and the atmosphere was amazing but the best part...the building and story behind it all.
In the midst of our wait, two of the kids and I ran over to Danny's Donuts before they closed to get some tasty donuts!!
